Service Description
This bundle is designed for Registered Managers whose teams are working with children impacted by trauma and attachment disruption and who need staff to respond with consistency, confidence, and emotional safety. Rather than adding more theory, these sessions focus on how trauma shows up on shift and how adult responses either stabilise or escalate situations. Staff develop a shared understanding of behaviour, regulation, and relational safety so practice becomes predictable across teams and shifts. The bundle includes four sessions, each two hours in duration: ACEs Session: Core Knowledge Supporting staff to recognise trauma patterns, understand impact, and respond in ways that reduce escalation and long-term harm. The PACE Model: Transformative Care Translating relational principles into everyday interactions that build trust, repair, and emotional safety. The Adult as the Anchor: Building Safety Strengthening staff awareness of how their regulation, consistency, and presence create safety for children. Seeing the Child Behind the Behaviour Moving teams away from surface behaviour management toward understanding need, distress, and meaning. All sessions are delivered remotely and are reflective and discussion based. The bundle provides eight hours of CPD in total and is priced for up to ten attendees, with flexible dates to fit around rotas and operational pressures. Managers who book this bundle typically see reduced reactive responses, greater consistency across staff teams, improved emotional containment on shift, and children experiencing more predictable and relationally safe care.

About Our Services Whys2Wise provides professional development and training for professionals working in residential childcare, fostering, education, and related care services. Training is educational and practice focused. We do not provide therapy, counselling, clinical services, or regulated care. 2. Bookings and Payment All sessions must be booked through our website or by written agreement. Bookings are confirmed once payment is received, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Prices apply per session as advertised. 3. Cancellation and Refunds Client cancellations: More than 14 days before the session: full refund or reschedule 7 to 14 days before the session: 50 percent refund or reschedule Less than 7 days before the session: no refund, one reschedule may be offered at our discretion Non attendance without notice is non refundable. If Whys2Wise cancels a session, clients will be offered a full refund or alternative date. 4. Training Scope and Responsibility Training supports professional understanding, judgement, and reflection. It does not replace organisational policies, statutory guidance, safeguarding procedures, or professional supervision. All practice decisions remain the responsibility of the individual and their organisation. Whys2Wise is not liable for actions taken following training. 5. Safeguarding Whys2Wise is committed to safeguarding. If safeguarding concerns arise during training, participants will be encouraged to follow their organisational safeguarding procedures. Where there is an immediate risk, we reserve the right to escalate concerns appropriately. 6. Confidentiality and Conduct Participants must not share identifiable information about children, families, or colleagues. Professional and respectful conduct is expected. We reserve the right to remove participants for inappropriate behaviour without refund. 7. Recording and Materials Sessions must not be recorded without written permission. All materials remain the intellectual property of Whys2Wise and may not be shared or reproduced without consent. 8. Complaints Complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the session. We aim to respond within 14 working days and resolve concerns fairly. 9. Data Protection Personal data is handled in line with UK GDPR and used only for service delivery and administration. 10. Liability and Law Liability is limited to the value of the booked session.
